The layout of this page has changed recently, so here's the scoop on the new site. The navigation links below the page title and description link to other sites I have created. I have done this to separate sites by sport. For example,
- The Basketball Games tab will take you to my site that covers Basketball Fantasy Games.
- The Football Games tab will take you to my site that covers Football Fantasy Games.
- The Baseball Games tab will take you to my site the covers Baseball Fantasy Games.
The SFTC Records tab will take you to a page where I have included all of my SFTC records.
The About This Site tab will take you to a page that describes the purpose of this site.
On this page I will continue to give my picks and write-ups for Streak for the Cash and Streak It Up. I do picks and write-ups for my top 1 or 2 for each sport, and have divided my write ups accordingly.
I hope this is easy to understand. I also hope that you really enjoy the sites and that you refer as many people as you can.
Well March is finally here! I think most of us are just happy that February is finally behind us. My top picks for day 1 of March are below. The * indicates props that are also featured on Streak It Up.
Basketball:
NCAAM:
1) Iona Gaels
Reasons: The line one this game is Iona -5. Iona is on a bit of a skid, losing their last 3, but they beat Loyola by 8 earlier in the year at Loyola, and they are at home for this game. I expect Iona to squeak out a win here.
Confidence: 40%
2) Manhattan Jaspers
Reasons: Manhattan beat Fairfield by 22 at Fairfield a little over 2 weeks ago. Manhattan is at home for this game. They don't have a super impressive home record, at 6 - 4, and Fairfield is favored by 1, but the favored road team has been losing a lot lately, so I give the edge to Manhattan.
Confidence: 30%
NBA:
*1) Atlanta Hawks
Reasons: The Suns are one of the worst teams in the Western Conference, if not in the league. They definitely play their best at home, but the Hawks just have a much more talented team. The Hawks are favored by 4.5.
Confidence: 70%
*2) Oklahoma City Thunder
Reasons: The Thunder are the best team in the league besides the Heat. They are not unbeatable, as they have lost 15 games this season, and Denver plays tough at home. The line is dead even at this point. The main question is whether the Thunder can slow down or stop Ty Lawson. If they can do that, they will win for sure.
Confidence: 60%
Other Sports:
Golf:
1) Rickie Fowler or Tie
Reasons: The tie option has been on fire lately on these 9 hole golf props. Fowler should at least tie, but hopefully win.
Confidence: 50%
NHL:
1) St. Louis Blues
Reasons: The Blues are at home and the Oilers are definitely not one of the top teams in the NHL. The Oilers have not won in St. Louis since 2009, but they did just beat Dallas a couple days ago.
Confidence: 40%\
*2) Anaheim Ducks
Reasons: The Ducks are nearly unstoppable at home, winning 7 straight. The Wild are no pushovers though, so it could be a close game.
Confidence: 40%
Soccer:
1) Silkeborg W/D
Reasons: The odds are slightly in Aalborg's favor to win, but they are definitely not a clear favorite. In their last 5 head to head matches, Silkeborg has won this prop 4 times.
Confidence: 30%
*2) Juventus Win
Reasons: The odds are just slightly in Juventus's favor to win, but they are definitely not a clear favorite. Napoli may pull out the draw, especially since they are at home. Juventus definitely have had their struggels on the road. The last times these 2 teams met Juventus won 2 - 0, and Juventus has won 3 of 5 of their last head-to-head matches, so I give the slight edge to Juventus.
Confidence: 30%
