I have taken the time to do a write up for each prop today. I hope you enjoy!
My top 2 "stash" picks for tomorrow:
- NCAAM: Kansas by 25+
- NCAAM: 69 points or more
My picks for every prop:
- Soccer: Dukla Prague Win/Draw
- In the last 5 times these teams have played, Dukla Prague has won this prop 4 times. The odds slightly favor the draw option as well.
- Confidence: 70%
- Soccer: Manchester City Wins by 2+
- Aston Villa is one of the worst teams in the EPL. Man City has 2x the goals for and 1/2 the goals against as Aston Villa. City's road form hasn't been stellar, but they are wanting to catch up to United and need all the points they can get.
- Confidence: 70%
- Soccer: 28th Minute or later or no goal
- I don't expect the no goal option to be a factor, as I expect Man City to score at least 1 goal in the first half. It's a total tossup as to when the 1st goal will be scored.
- Confidence: 50%
- Soccer: No Aston Villa goal in 2nd half
- Aston Villa are one of the worst teams in the league and Man city has a pretty good defense. Also, it may seem silly, but the majority of the time 2 in game props are featured, the outcomes usually end up being on the same side (on the mobile app) or both on top or both on bottom (on the PC). I know it sounds crazy, but go check it out.
- Confidence: 60%
- NCAAM: Louisville wins by DD
- Louisville is favored by exactly 10 at the moment. They have a 13 - 1 home record, play outstanding defense, and are very good offensively. I will most likely have them as one of my final four teams.
- Confidence: 70%
- NCAAM: Russ Smith
- Russ Smith averages about a point more per game than Kilpatrick. From my memory, it seems like Kilpatrick scores more in the 2nd half. Also Louisville is at home.
- Confidence: 50%
- NCAAM: Kansas by 25+
- Kansas has been playing awesome basketball since that head-scratching 3 game stretch mid-season. Kansas is currently favored by 24, but they have won the last 4 meetings against TTU at home by an average of 37.8 points.
- Confidence: 70%
- NCAAW: Notre Dame
- Notre Dame is riding a 22 game winning streak, are 12 - 1 at home, and beat UConn by 1 at UConn back in January. I didn't find a line for this game, and it could go either way, but I give the slight edge to Notre Dame since they're at home and have better stats.
- Confidence: 60%
- NHL: Toronto Maple Leafs
- Toronto is at home for this game, and New Jersey's best goalie, Brodeur, is still out, and the Devils have not won since he was injured.
- Confidence: 70%
- NBA: Cleveland Cavaliers
- Kyrie Irving is expected to start today after sitting out the last 3 games. The Knicks haven't won in Cleveland in over 6 years, and Anthony has fared far worse in Cleveland than he has at home.
- Confidence: 70%
- NCAAM: Made 2 pointer
- I don't know the exact stats, but 2 point baskets make up a far greater percentage of points than 3 pointers and free throws. These teams don't shoot outstanding from 3, but a free throw might come first. It really could go either way, but one would expect a 2 point shot to be made first.
- Confidence: 60%
- NCAAM: Texas
- Remember a few days ago when Texas was down by 20+ at home against Oklahoma with 8ish minutes to play and they came back and won in overtime? Texas plays much better at home than on the road. Baylor won't want to lose 3 straight as they are trying to go for the conference title, and they are favored by 2 in this game, but I just give the slight edge to Texas, as they will be looking for quality wins in order to make the tournament.
- Confidence: 60%
- NCAAM: Myck Kabongo 1st half field goals made
- This is really a toss up and could go either way. Kagongo will maybe have 5 - 6 first half field goals. The tie option for the Baylor pick may be key here. Don't pick with a high streak.
- Confidence: 50%
- NCAAM: North Carolina A&T
- A&T is favored by 3 points. They lost the previous away game against Savannah St by 7 though. I don't really know either of these teams, but they have similar records, A&T's home record is pretty good at 8 - 3, and A&T averages more ppg.
- Confidence: 50%
- NHL: Anaheim Ducks
- The Coyotes beat the Ducks in a shootout win on Saturday, but the Ducks will be rested for this game and should get the win.
- Confidence: 70%
- Tennis: Juan Martin Del Potro
- Del Potro is a very good tennis player, especially on hard court. Nadal is just recently coming back from his knee injury, which could be affected by the hard court.
- Confidence: 60%
- NCAAM: 69 points or more
- You should probably check the halftime score before picking this, but the last few times this prop has been featured, the over has won.
- Confidence: 70%
- NHL: Los Angeles Kings
- The Kings have some of the best goal-tending in the league, while the Predators have the league's worst offense, averaging just around 2 goals per game. The Kings should take care of business at home, but they have been beaten by the Predators every game this season so far.
- Confidence: 70%
