We created this site for a variety of reasons. First, because we love sports and playing fantasy sports games. Second, because we want to help as many people as we can become proficient at playing these games. We think help and collaboration are always good! Third, because it is my dream and goal to work for ESPN as a fantasy game programmer.
The way we have it set up is this:
- The far right column contains gadgets for sharing the site with others, following the site, and viewing the posts archive.
- The center column contains daily posts. These will mostly contain information on Streak for the Cash (SFTC) and Streak It Up (SIU) picks, but will also feature important bits of information and news items. This section is more fully explained below.
- The far left column contains gadgets for you to see the popularity of the site, join our groups for various games, and see our pick history.
- Below the site title and description are links to other pages we have created for other games besides SFTC and SIU. These will be divided by sport for grouping and ease of navigation.
Our picks and pick record are color-coded by sport. They follow the legend below:
- NCAAM -- Men's College Basketball
- NCAAW -- Women's College Basketball
- NBA -- National Basketball Association
- NHL -- National Hockey League
- MLB -- Major League Baseball
- NFL -- National Football League
- NCAAF -- College Football
- Tennis -- All levels of tennis
- Golf -- All levels of golf
- Soccer -- All levels of soccer
- VOL -- All levels of volleyball
- LAX -- Lacrosse
- Other -- Any other sport event
Originally, the way we did posts was this: we would do write-ups on our top 1 or 2 picks for each sport. Our thought was to give you the freedom to choose which sports you are interested in and what types of picks you want to make, and not just the ones that we were interested in. After taking polls of visitors to the site, it became apparent that the majority of visitors preferred analysis for every pick. We value the opinion and feedback of our site visitors tremendously, so we decided to start doing write-ups and analysis for all picks, in addition to giving our top 2 or 3 "stash" picks of the day. This can be a lot of work, so we have a team of people to do write-ups. Steve Truman is doing the tennis write-ups, Jim Lee is doing soccer and NBA write-ups, and Clark Stonehocker is doing write-ups for everything else.
Lastly, our other pages will have information, analysis, and picks (if applicable), for the other fantasy games that we cover. So please check them out and share them with everyone you know!
