• I can't even tell you how much I dislike Serena Williams.  I just can't stand her.  I really, really wish that Maria will beat her tomorrow.  If we go by history though, Maria hasn't beaten Serena for 9 years.  She's only taken a set from her once in their last 8 matches.  Maria is playing very well right now though and won this tournament last year.  Go Maria!!

2. Soccer:  Ethiopia Win or Draw
• These teams have only ever played each other once, a 1 - 0 win for Ethiopia at home on March 24 of this year.  Ethiopia has 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 loss in their last 5 matches while Botswana has 2 draws and 3 losses.  The odds do favor Botswana to win, but looking at their recent form, the win or draw for Ethiopia seems like the clear choice.

3. Other:  North Carolina Tar Heels
• These teams haven't played each other this year, so there's no real data to go off of.  South Carolina played well in their Regional games, but most of those were home games for them.  Now North Carolina has home field advantage.  They are obviously the higher seed and will hopefully get the win at home.

• Wow this is a tough prop.  I think there's little doubt that Ivory Coast will win.  The main question is will they be leading at halftime.  I don't think Gambia will score, so it's basically a matter of whether Ivory Coast gets a goal in the first half.  These teams last played back in March, a game which Ivory Coast won 3 - 0, but scored all of their goals in the 2nd half.  That match was a home game for Ivory Coast.  This match is a home game for Gambia, so I'm thinking they'll make it tough for the first half but that Ivory Coast pulls out the win in the second half.

5. Other:  Mississippi State loses by 1 or wins
• These teams haven't played each other this year, so there's no real data to go off of.  This is a home game for Virgina, but I don't think they're that much better that Mississippi state.

6. MLB:  Texas Rangers
• The Rangers shouldn't lose with Darvish pitching.  He's 7 - 2 with a 2.77 ERA on the season.  They are in a little bit of a funk right now, but they'll get Nelson Cruz back and with them facing Buehrle, they should get back to winning.  Buehrle is just 2 - 4 with a 5.42 ERA on the season.

• English has beaten Stefani both of the previous rounds of this tournament, but only by 1 stroke each time.  I think Stefani can get the tie this time.

8. Other:  Vanderbuilt wins by 2+ runs
• Vandy and Louisville played once during the regular season: a home game for Louisville which Vanderbuilt won 10 - 2.  This game is a home game for Vandy and I think they'll win by at least 2, probably more.
